Origin
A blend, not a single garden
Kikyo is deliberately composed from several growing regions and harvests (1st to 4th picking). A single garden varies from year to year in colour and bitterness — which is precisely a problem for an operation that has to serve the same latte or the same pastry every day. The blend evens out that variation and delivers a consistent result from batch to batch.
